I have baking stuff you can use if needed....Wilton icing tips, cookie cutters, even have Halloween pumpkin carving stuff.  Maybe you can start a new American bakery close by...I would visit.😊]]></description>

I agree that hobbies do help! And as you said, some days can be hard but I&#039;m so sorry that you can&#039;t bake! I&#039;ve really been having a ton of fun baking and I used to be one of those girls who ran to the store and bought baked goodies instead of baking them myself.]]></description>

					<description><![CDATA[Working helped me.  I learned the language faster (still not great even after ten years of living in NL).   I have had times of the cave feeling (Jan) mostly.  Having a hobby that gets me out and adjusting to my new area helps. I had lived in many countries before NL but it was still hard some days.  Baking was outlawed at my house as everyone was gaining weight. 😂]]></description>

That when in an unfamiliar place, we at first recoiled and tried to find something familiar ie groups or associations of people hailing from home. But then we realize over a period of time it was more worthwhile to be out there making friends with the locals, learning their language, appreciating their cuisines etc.]]></description>
